As women we have to hold it all together but you feel like everything is falling apart; it’s all starting to feel hopeless. As women we can feel constant stress; you feel like you can never relax? You are exhausted and wake up in the middle of the night with niggling thoughts.
As a woman, you want everyone to be happy even at if its a cost to yourself? You expect too much of yourself but wonder if everything you’ve achieved is good enough. Maybe your shoulders are always tense from clenching them or your stomach hurts from the worry and stress. You aren’t sure you can go one more day with the incredible amount of anxiety that you hold in and you feel shouldn’t confide these challenges in your partner, family or friends because you don’t want to burden them. These feelings, thoughts and body sensations aren’t uncommon in women especially with the multiple roles we play in our family, with friends and in society.
Imagine if you could catch your breath; just take a moment to unclench your shoulders and jaw. Take a deep breath and let everything go for 60 seconds. Think about giving yourself the permission to make mistakes without drowning in doubt and criticism. I come alongside you and help you give yourself the permission to let some things go. We work together to increase your ability for self compassion; what if your immediate response was kindness and love towards yourself?
Imagine giving all of yourself, even your younger parts, love and compassion that you give to everyone else. I work with you to be more present and aware of your life; giving you the ability to stop and pause; you can think, “what is REALLY going on?”. You can give yourself permission to be aware of your emotions then decide what actions you will take. While we work together, you might notice that your racing thoughts quiet a bit, you have a greater ability to recognize and acknowledge that these thoughts are simply just thoughts. I can help you get a better night’s rest which will help lower excessive irritability and fatigue. I can help you move from surviving in life to thriving.

I use a variety of techniques to lower your stress and worry, to increase ability to stay present, increase your ability to say NO to things that aren’t helpful and increase your self compassion. I do love including mindfulness but include what you are comfortable with including books, art, and music; possibly a podcast to listen too. You get to decide what you feel comfortable with and what you process each session.

My sessions are 50 minutes where you decide what to bring and focus on. I bring curiosity, support and help to empower you to do the difficult work in each session. I’m quiet but love to ask insightful questions to get you thinking about yourself, your past and how/what can be different. The first few sessions will be more getting to know you sessions which can still be challenging then the work will begin! I do like to have 1-2 months of weekly sessions then we can decide together how frequently we will schedule afterward.
