Mindfulness Therapy in St. Louis for LGBTQAI+ and cis gendered women.

Your mind is always going two steps ahead; focused on the future without your permission. Your inner critic seems to be out loud and in charge breaking you down from stress and constant worry. You are TIRED. You can’t catch a break from the what if’s and should’s. It’s incredibly hard to focus on the present moment and this makes it difficult to enjoy your life or even remember small but important moments. It doesn’t have to be this way and I can come alongside to accomplish your goal of being more present, authentic and alive in your life.

Mindfulness means being intentionally present in the moment in our every day lives. It can seem difficult or scary but it’s simply a practice of trying each day to be aware, present, and my favorite, curious. It really is just practicing; trying your best to be alive in your life moment to moment. Mindfulness helps reduce your stress and anxiety, increases self esteem and increases your ability to relax! It’s about letting go of your self judgements and giving yourself the grace and compassion that you give to your partner, family and friends. Mindfulness allows you to be more authentic and gives you space and time to react in a genuine way. It allows you to take a deep breath and notice things that you’ve never noticed before.

I enjoy working with motivated adult individuals that already know a lot about mindfulness; maybe you’re a yoga teacher, message therapist or get energy work done with a functional medicine doctor or you’re not sure what is getting in the way of your efforts to be mindful. I also love teaching new motivated individuals about mindfulness and working with you to create a brand new habits. Contact me for a free 15 minute phone consultation.

  • In sessions; we may work on mindfulness but this can look like a lot of things; not just meditations. We will work on practicing self compassion and letting go of harsh judgements. We will focus on the stories that you tell yourself; the emotions and thoughts behind them and what is truthful and what isn’t.

  • My sessions are 50 minutes where you decide what to bring and focus on. I bring curiosity, support and help to empower you to do the difficult work in each session. My past clients have said that I’m a really good listener and insightful, nonjudgemental and compassionate. The first few sessions will be more getting to know you sessions which can still be challenging then the work will begin! I do like to have 1-2 months of weekly sessions then we can decide together how frequently we will schedule afterward.

  • You can email me for a free 15 min phone consultation at cozy.corner314@gmail.com and we will discuss what is bringing you to therapy and how I can possibly assist you. It’s a great time to make sure that we are a good fit. If we decide we are a good fit then we will schedule your initial appointment.
